There are several vegetables in the turnip family. Red kohlrabi (chou-rave rouge) is one of them. They remind me of parsnips. Last night, I made kohlrabi fries for dinner. They were good.Okay, this post is solely here so I don't have to look at the last one anymore, but I do enjoy trying new-to-me vegetables. :)
